Can people who aren't skinny pull off short hair?

I’m thinking it might have more to do with head shape and jaw line, no? I mean a pixie cut on a thin girl with a pumpkin head would look terrible. Although I’ll confess thats hard to imagine…

the size or your body has nothi ng to do with your hair. and it shouldnt anyway. a haircut is usually based on your jaw line, face and shape to get the right cut, also on personality and what you want. dont think that you have to be a size 0 to pull off all the good things. because you dont. and people eho are a size 0 cant pull them off anyway

It is facial shape, as pinkpearl above said, that really determines what looks good and what doesn’t. I am chunky, and have my hair cut short and sort of spiky and it looks better on me than when I had the short hair. I have a daughter-in-law who is very heavy, and she had long, long hair. It flatters her, but only because of her face shape. Find out what shape your face is and then start doing some research on line. There are a lot of sites that will show you what cuts work on what shaped face. Hope you love the cut you decide on!

OMG, lol, sometimes these magazines have a lot to answer for. I read once that if you’re under 5 ft 3 you should never wear long jackets or coats, just short ones. It’s always bothered me in the back of my mind but I’ve always disobeyed the rule, how idiotic is that?

Body shape doesn’t effect your hairstyle hun, its your face shape that does.
