Do you think this was a shocking thing to say to a friend?

Well one day i ran into a friend in the mall and i told her if she knew this old lady and she said yes she is my aunt, and i confirmed what i was thinking that we are related because is my aunt too, because that aunt is cousin of my grandfather and i call her aunt too and that makes my mom cousin of her mom and i told her if i can call her cousin and she told me yes if i want and called me cousin too. I was kind of schoked too, but i needed it to find out lol. What do you think?

What’s shocking about it? It seems more like a cool discovery actually. Does her quick acceptance trouble you? If so, that might be something you might want to bring up to her or maybe, it might be a reason to at least reflect on your self as an individual.
