How can my friend tell her Mom that she's depressed?

ok well my friend just found out for sure that she is depressed and might even be bipolar well her mom alread knew she waskinda like “emo” because of the music she listens to ..but she is afraid to tell her mom because her mother doesnt understand ..PLEASE HELLP HER

How did she find out she is depressed for sure ? Unless she has been to a doctor it is very hard to diagnose depression let alone what type it is. She needs to sit her mum down and take you if she needs the suport and say mum I think im depressed. It could just be teen hormones or yes it may be something like depression. It needs to be sorted ASAP. You sound like a good friend to her so go with her to her mum or maybe go and talk to her mum by yourself. ?

DON’T TALK TO HER MUM BEHIND HER BACK! I think that she would feel like you were stabbing her ni the back, you need to earn her trust. keep doing what your doing, you sound like an awesome friend. just gently get her use to the idea of telling her mum, maybe her mum will agree to take her to a doctor or something and her mum might start to understand a little. good luvk 2 you and your friend xox
