Shaving your Pubic Area-

Usually,I wax.But Im all out,and I cant stand not having it clean.I’ve got a few questions-

What direction to I shave? I know your supposed to go “with the grain” but a lot of times its hard to tell what direction it grows.

Whats the best way to get the closest shave? Because No matter how I shave,I cant get it NEARLY as smooth as say,my legs. Its still kinda prickly.

Any other tips?

no, you shave against the grain if you shave with the grain, or in the same direction as the hair grows then your more likely to get ingrown hairs, and also not as close a shave shave in the opposite direction there growing in usually its up, for shaving “down there” so shave upwards try a shaver with 4 blades and use shaving cream hot water like in a shower will open up the pores making it easire to shave as well

I have been shaving there for about 6 years now and have never had a problem with still being prickly. The lower sides I find are the easiest because the hair tends to be more thin so for that you just pull the skin tight and shave from bottom to top then at the top it will be a little differant. Start bottom to top but I notice that right in the middle and the top corners the hair shifts direction a little bit so you will need to make sure to go over those again once it is cut mostly off to make sure you are going against the grain. Also use mens razors. Womens razors are meant for leg hair and what not which is a lot thinner than a mans facial hair so ours are a little more dull and mens are meant to cut close and maintain strength. Do not use the same razor for your legs or under arms, have a seperate razor for that since they tend to dull very fast and it isn’t very pleasant on your womenly parts. I also use conditioner instead of shaving cream. I have to be able to see what I am doing and shaving cream is to thick for that, plus conditioner helps really moisturize. There is also this stuff call “coochy cream” that you can get at conrev.com for 19$ and it works really well… Weird enough it isnt just a shaving cream, it can also me used as a conditioner for your hair… Haven’t been daring enough to try that one yet lol. Good luck

buy men’s razors…for some reason they just work a lot better.
