Shaving

Ok well my girlfriend wanted me to shave down below and I did but the V part where my legs mean my abs/mid section itches sooo bad and I get some redness/bumps when I itch it, what did I do wrong or how do I stop this?

Answer #1

I think you know enough now but you probably shouldn’t attempt this again. Girls shaving their private and boys shaving theirs are completely different, for a guy it itches like crazy and for a girl it doesn’t. This is something you might want to explain to your girlfriend. To make the red bumps go down hold a hot cloth on the area, stick to trimming for now on :)

Answer #2

I am going to vote against hair removal cream…guys tend to be a bit more “allergic” to it then girls and my sister got very bad burns on her legs from a well known brand the other day. stick to shaving…you just need to find a way that works for you.

*I don’t know your a guy your not suppose to shave down there lol”

Why not? It’s just like girls, some people don’t like being hairy. It’s just better for guys to trim so it’s not so itchy.

Answer #4

that’s just b/c it’s prbably your first time shaving there && it’s irritating your skin. try lotin or somethin until you get used to it!

Answer #5

its not anything like that you idiot (loka) gtfo.

anyways lol thanks, I have been doing that, maybe ill use my face cream that I use to shave my face cus it’s really nice and I never get razor burn from that and lotion after? I hope it works :)

Answer #6

Try aloe vera lotion after…it’ll soothe it. or like I said vaya smooth, it is the best thing on the market that I know of. It truly works for shaving rash.

You can try the cream that you use for shaving on your face…but my advice is to first try it on a very small area down there, because it is a more sensitive area you could get an allergic reaction.

Use a little bit and give it 24 hours to see if anything happens before you use it on the full area.

Answer #7

You didn’t do anything wrong most likely. It’s called shaving rash and it is normal to get, especially down there, there is a product called vaya smooth that helps for shaving rash…try see if you can get it.

Otherwise here are some tips on how to minimize shaving rash: Use a good shaving cream Shave in the direction the hair is growing, else you are virtually guaranteed to get ingrown hairs. get some lotion to put on there to ease the itch.
