Shaving

I’ve been thinking about shaving my stomach because im worried that its to hairy for a girls stomach but if I do will it grow back even worse and if I do it will I only have to shave certain spots like around my belly button or all of my stomach.

The idea that shaving an area will make hair grow back thicker and darker is a popular but untrue urban myth. Consider that professional swimmers regularly shave their entire bodies to cut down on resistance in the water. If the myth were true, after their careers were over, all of them would end up looking like a yeti,

The folicles are dead keratin and do not know whether they are being shaved or not, and their color was determined long ago by your DNA. Shaving will not impact the thickness or darkness at all.

However, if you decide to do some hair removal in that area, waxing or veet, as x3 suggested, might be your better option. There will be less stubble to deal with as time passes.

I had that problem. I used veet and then shaved it away and my hair is growing back but less than it was before.

so I recommend using veet on your stomach

Answer #3

Yeah, that crap sucks. I would advise the same: wax and keep shaving.

Or, possibly bleaching the hair?

Dye it a lighter color to make it less noticeable, it could work. I’ve been meaning to try it myself.
