Do they still do sex education in your country?

Well, in the US they give it to you in 5th-8th grade. They show you some GRAPHIC pictures and all! haha But you have to get a parents signature.

In Canada we start at public schools in grade 4 and I remeber being taught how to put a condom on a wooden thing. I don’t think that should be even taught at that age because personally I did not even know that boys had a different make up compared to girls heck I would have been happy if the only thing I knew was where babies came from but the publiuc system went all out on promoting safe sex to like 10 year old children which is stupid. I think that it would have been smarter just to teach the anatomy of it all and like important stuff and not how to put a condom on. Anyways when I went to a catholic school in grade 6 they did not teach it at all but they gave out a huge booklet to the parents with all the info to explian it to us haha it was so akward when both my parents sat me down and tired to explian it

I live in england and they still did it when I was at school about 9 years ago and as far as I no they still do which I also think is needed but with more drastic measures as in this contry there are so many young 14 15 16 year olds still having un wanted babys

I was taught about sex in 6th grade… never got taught anything about it after that. I’m not sure if they still do it now or not.

Yes They Still Teach The Kids In The States About Sex Education. I Had It From 4th-8th Grade… By 6th Grade I Knew More About Sexual Diseases..Ect Then My Mom Did…LoL

But yes in the states it’s called ‘’Hot Topics’’ and I learned about Drugs too…That class was Called ‘’D.A.R.E’’

Until I was in high school, all we had was a video about menstruation shown every couple years. It was really cheesy and they made a uterus diagram out of pancakes… Anywho, in health class in highschool (which is not optional, but you can take it any year you can fit it in your schedule) the book taught about STD’s and the reproductive system. I really would have prefered if we could have been in smaller groups to talk about sex and its emotional side effects as well as the physical.

when I moved to Saudi Arabia (and I already know everything about it from america) they started teaching them from age 11-16 (wich I think is wrong) !!! but still, they’re not telling them everything about it !! wich I think is also wrong!!

cause you take that with the lessons in science!! it means if they didn’t take sience they’d never know anything about it!! and in this country they take “relegion” and with the lessons there’s sex like: they have a speciel month that they have to fast in it, but I don’t, I just watch them do it! if someone have sex during the day while they’re fasting, it makes them break their fasting! so if they didn’t take relegion or science, they would never know what sex is all about unless their parents tell them about their bodies!!

I live in the US and I’ve been in classes that taught that stuff from like 5th to 10th, im in a class now that learns bout it..

I dont think they need to learn about putting on the condom at ten but when they hit highschool they really should.

I live in U.K. and they teach us bout that since we moved to secondary school (11yrs-16yrs) the lesson is called pshce

Yes, in France they teach sex education from age 10 or 11 onwards. My eldest son is 10, so I’m sure I’ll find out pretty soon what the teaching is like!
