What could I use as a septum ring?

hey i just pierced my septum and i dont have a ring for it, culd i use a big enough paperclip for now, till i get a ring?

You need to sterilize everything REALLY well since you did it your self…A septum ring is generally a little smaller than a normal earring so it maybe more sterile and better to use just a normal earring…Make sure you clean your piercing regularly to reduce the chance of infection….Hope This Helped In Some Way!

well, that was idiotic…and no a paperclip wont do, you realise you need to keep jewelrey in there for 3 MONTHS to allow it to heal WITHOUT changing it durig that time. you should let the wound heal over, save up $50 bucks and get ir PORFESIONALLY done in a few months time, you need proper surgical steel jewelrey in there otherwise you will get an infection and the area wont heal. maybe you could keep a sleeper in there right now, but i doubt it will work for long, you probably wont even be able to get any jewelrey through the diy hole, it was a pretty stupid move especially if you didnt have any jewelrey for it
