Septum piercing

I Just got my septum pierced a couple of hours ago, but it’s a you bar, and I want a proper septum bar in it. Would it be ok for me to change it now? or should I just wait? I know it’s a stupid idea, I just really want a proper ring! haha. looks like a staple in my nose right now :P

no a piercing is a wound and no wound has healed in a few hours it takes months and you need to wait at least 3 months before changing it or taking it out if you take it out earlier you risk infection and youll prolong its healing time

Answer #2

dont!! the same thing happened to me. wait 6 weeks before changing it. mine ended up getting infected and gross, after I tried to change it. it hurt like hell. I advise you not to change it yet, or you will end up in pain. hope I helped some

Answer #3

No it wouldn’t… Wait at least 3 weeks…

I tried to do the same thing, I had the CBR at first and wanted to CBB, but once I took it out I coudn’t get it back in… so I had to let it close up…

Plus it hurt soo much…

And I got it re-pierced and its all fine now, I changed and stretched it after a month… =D
