Senator restroom scandal

This reminds me of Anita Bryant who was widely known for her strong views against homosexuality and her prominent campaigning against gays in the mid-1970s. She proposed taking off the doors of the stalls in men’s rooms to prevent homosexual activity and in some rest rooms they actually did this. What ever happened top privacy! Now when we were in the military there wasn’t any privacy in the latrines ( heads in the Navy) but in a public rest room!!! Who wants to see another man sitting on the throne. Gag!! Wouldn’t that ruin your dinner if you went in to wash your hands and there sits some guy doing his number two of poo. Well I do like the Minneapolis approach better but they better leave at least an inch or so for the poor janitor who has to mop up, otherwise the partitions will have a short obsolescence due to rust.

Only the Senator and God above know his true intentions - sad commentary when hardly anything that happens surprises us anymore - the times in which we live.

If Senator Craig did everything the cop said he did then I believe he was trying to solicit sex in the mens room and his actions would fit the typical signals used by homosexuals in mens rooms. Most men have seen or experienced this type of behavior in mens rooms but I don’t consider what he did to be a crime. It happens all the time but most men just ignore it and go about their business, pardon the pun, and when finished just quietly exit the mens room. However I am not condoning men having homosexual affairs in public rest rooms because they are also used by children. In this case nothing was said and nothing actually happened so I can’t see where any crime was committed. Now had they been standing side by side at a urinal and one flashed the other with an erection, that would be a much more overt action and I’ve seen this happen also but it would be totally obscene and gross for a man to do this in the presence of a child and he should then be arrested. If Senator Craig has his plea of guilty rescinded and has a trial by jury, it’s very doubtful he will be found guilty even though he was actually entertaining the notion of soliciting sex. It does seem to be a form of entrapment though, an officer sitting in the men’s room stall for long periods of time (maybe hours) just waiting for someone to make a signal/gesture. Kind of like, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck… and the officer did tap his foot in return. What does this say— If a female undercover officer who poses as a prostitute is approached by a John looking for sex and the John asks how much will it cost me and she answers 50 bucks, –she must be a duck! There could be terrorists planting bombs in the airport while we have an officer sitting in the men’s room tapping his foot to the tune of a h o m o’s. What!! Now that’s what I call getting paid for sitting on ones a s s.

personally i dont think that the senator was trying to do anything wrong …come on think about it i know that allot of people are guilty of looking in a stall…but its to see if anyones in there…PLUS have you noticed the stall gaps have gotten bigger thats really uncomfertable to me and as far as the whole foot touching foot thing …ive been guilty of that and ill admit itive moved my leg over and touched my shoe to someone elses before…and i apologised…and did anyone ever think of the fact that this cop may have been waiting to do something like this to him so he would be imbarased and step down…thats how i feel and if people are so freaked out about a shoe touching a shoe then in 2004 i was hitting on a 200 pound 40 year old diabetic with a cast on her right arm…and it looked like she was wearing a wig…come on poperazzi…TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS!!!

I think it’s a little far-fetched. I can’t possibly believe he would stoop to soliciting sex in a public bathroom either. But on the other hand maybe he has a thing for having sex in a public bathroom. It seems to be something happening quite frequently.

Dear funguy, “I am not gay” I do believe he protest too much LOL. Soliciting s*x in a public washroom with strangers is on the rise. Hence the need for undercover cop in public cubicals…we have the word of this officer who has what to gain by saying this? Was it some huge mistake by the senator…well yes! Is it true…he pleaded guilty. He says he regrets the plea but a rung bell cannot be unrung. So guilty or innocent the vision of him and the cop in the washroom is forever etched in our minds… Sue
