Semi permanent hair dye?

Okay so I am putting an orange streak in my hair and I need to know what is the difference between semi permanent and permanent dye and how long does it take semi permanent dye to wash out?

okay so what if I want something permanent but then when I look at it I find out I dont like it? I mean can you wash permanent out with enough washes if you dont like it? and there IS a way to get dye out if you dont like it… right?

The best thing to do is to get a similar shade of the colour you want in semi permanent hair dye, and then if you really like it after it washes out- get it in permanent.
