Self-dying your hair

We dont have the money right now to get my hair done in a salon but im a blonde and I really want my hair to be dyed brown before school starts, so my mom said we can buy good stuff from the store and dye it, are there any tips to make sure it comes out good or anything about like experiences you’ve had dying your hair darker with store products? to be honest going to the salon to get your hair done is a waste of money trust me I paid like 100$ and sumethingto get my hair blonde and it looked horrible and I hated it and yeah I bought dark brown hair dye and knoe I have black hair becuse of it lol

if you get any on your skin, wipe it off quickly! otherwise you’ll get chemical burn! I had it once, and I had to get my bangs cut weird so it would be covered up. but don’t rub it into your scalp! it doesn’t work and it hurts!

Make sure to use a no brass packet. Go to a beauty supply store. Sometimes, depending on the blonde your hair can turn a green gray when you dye it brown. So be careful.
