Scrunching straight hair

Whenever I scrunch my straight hair it always goes straight in a few min/hours.. How can I get it 2 stay curly? Without curling gel!!

Answer #1

Honestly? your hair is not going to go curly and last curly for a few weeks! You have to be persistant, The bonds way beneathe your hair near the medulla are straight and they are straightened out, if you keep curling your hair everynight and then scrunch the next day then over a period of weeks it the bonds will turn curly. its just that at the moment they are naturally straight, my hairs naturally curly and I had mine straightend everyday for months, then when I wanted it curly I had no chance becuase my bonds were flat!! Hope I helped

well… I think a good way is to take a shower in the morning. dry it out with a towel a little bit, and make sure all your hair is damp. then get some hair gel and rub it together in your hands. flip upside down and squeeze your hands on your hair up to make it scrunch. then spray it while upside down with hairspray. then flip up and scrunch a little more and spray it a lot. let it dry a little on it’s own, then spray it again. then if you spray it enough it will be kinda crunchy and it should stay

my tip b/c this is how I curl and scrunch my hair, so hope this works for you too :)

shampoo and condition your hair the night before… once its dried, before you go to bed, comb and braid or plait your hair and secure the ends with good hair elastic band… when you get up the next morning, remove the bands, your hair should have a nice wavey curly look to it… then brush or comb lightly and add hair spray :) your curls and scrunchy look should stay in place until you step into the shower again.

Use foam rollers on dry hair overnight. Finger comb and mist with a light hairspray in the morning.

take a shower about an 1:30 minutes before you have to leave. brush your hair when you get out. take a PAPER TOWEL and slowly pat your head dry, while scrunching it up. tip your head over and get up to your scalp. when you use a towel it’ll just make your hair want to go back staraight, so don’t ever do that. I then use the ausie hair gell, that’s the extra hold strength, and I squeeze about a quarter size of gel onto anto another damp paper towel and rub it around to spread it. then I put the paper towel on the top of my head for aobut 5 minutes, and this will prevent fly aways and your hair wanting to become straight from the roots down. I do my makeup when that’s going on. then carefully flip your head over, SLOWLY, and squeeze some gel in your hands and scrunch your hair all over, and the gel will just go all over the cur;ls and whatever. slowly tip your head back over , and spray some hairspray in it. when it’s dry flip your head over again, and use your finger and run then through your root to loosen up the curls a bit.
