How to growl/scream?

does anyone know how to growl/scream? I dont know how to even get started with that! or at least some pointers on how to warm up

all my friends who are in heavy metal or hardcore bands say it has to come from the stomach andgut… whatever that means. theres not always the same growl affect as oli syke if thats what you mean. I some times think of something that gets me going and then just let it all flow out.

exhale everything from your stomach, tightening your abs as you scream. It makes it deeper and clearer. Trust me, I’ve been screaming to metal music for years. xD
