Science project?

Hi! I’m wondering if anyone has an original and cool idea for a science project. It must be middle school level and good enough to compete in science fair. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks!

build a model of an energy efficient home, make a shaker tale with lego buildings and see how it withstands the shaking(earthquake). build different types of bridges, see which one is the strongest, determining which shape buildings would withstand an tsunami. those are the best I’ve got ! hope they help :)

Here’s what I did in middle school…

I put 4 bags of popcorn (unpopped) at different temperatures for an hour (one bag at room temp, one in the fridge, one in the freezer, and one in the sauna). Then I popped the bags to see which one popped in the least amount of time.

I got 2nd place!
