Scholarship help

Ok I’m writing this paper for a scholarship and I need some advice. The paper has to be a biography about me and I guess my experience with this one program I’m in. I kinda have an idea what I want to write and I know what I want to say about my experience with it but I need some help how to start at the beginning. So far I have that I’m a senior in high school and that I’v’e been an active member of the program but after that is where I’m stuck so if anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated

Here are some tips:

-Put down what motivates you -How successful you want to be in the future -Things that you are proud of that you have done in life -Your personality -Why people think your a good friend -What keeps you going -Things you do in your spare time -Stuff that makes people like you as a friend -What kind of stuff you do for fun -Talk about who or what made you a better person and changed your life for the better

Agree completely with maggot’s advice.

Also: re-read what you’ve written, and cut out ANYTHING that sounds even a little bit negative. Words like ‘although’ or ‘but’, for example - try to phrase everything in a positive, convincing way.

(Same thing applies for those out there who are applying for jobs…)
