Are schizophrenia tests accurate?

Test that are done online are not accurate what so ever. They are made for entertainment purposes and are not a replacement for seeking a doctor and real diagnoses. Anyone taking those online test could easily think they have some type of mental illness -they are very vague and not at all how a real test and assessment would be done.

I agree with “ mandyloo” They arent accurate. If you think there is something wrong with you, you need to go seek out a theripist, or a psychologist. I have schitzophrenia, and ive taken online tests, and some said i was, and some said there was no way i was. But i had already seen a doctor about it before had, it was simply for my own entertainment. So my advice, is to go to your doctor, and get assessed

Oh I’m sorry you have it for real. I wasn’t trying to entertain myself. I have had bad hallucinations for a week and I was depressed most of the week too, but maybe I’m ok, though.

Gosh, that’s weird that those tests aren’t accurate. I don’t see how they’re entertaining either. Thanks for your help though.

I would rely on some of those test.. All of those tests can’t be inaccurate.. Can they?

Well, like i said, if your worried ,go see your doctors lindsey, and terry, to a certin degree they may be accurate, but you just dont know with them

Yes, all those tests can be inaccurate, there’s no written test for schizophrenia. Unlike depression, anxiety and even personality disorders that have scored tests that are used by psychologists, there is no test used for schizophrenia. And schizophrenia is generally best diagnosed and treated by a psychiatrist.

Ok. Thanks everyone for your imput on this subject. I’m currently getting help, but no one knows what it is yet.
