I wanted to bake cupcakes but i need eggs, is safe to eat them now?.
well if you think about it you get samonella when you eat RAW chicken, and if it is all the way cooked you dont get it so i am pretty sure if you cook the eggs all the way you wont get sick.. Its mostly like the people who like eggs over-easy or yoke runny or whatever you call it that get sick cause it is like chicken that isnt cooked all the way.
Actally for cake you can use unflavored gelatin - i have to bake egg free cakes for twins every year when i make their birthday cakes and you can substitue unflavoreed gelatin for the egg.
They havent lifted the recall...weve been buying ours from local farmers and farmers markets to be safe. You can also use egg substitute.
mandy, if i cook the eggs while there in the oven will it kill the salmonella? I dont have unflavored gelatin.
He he my friend is one of those local farmers, and is loving the recall right now :P.
I hope that recall doesn't include WinCo Foods 8-|
