Is it safe to blowdry your hair when it isn't wet?

No damage or damage to the hair or parts of the hair? I want to blowdry my hair to make it look full and puffy!

Answer #1

You can try. I don’t know how effective it will be.

Answer #2

Pretty much all heat applied to the hair is the same :/ Correct me if I’m wrong fellows, I’d like to know too, exactly.

Answer #3

Just blow it on cold/cool air, if you blast heat into it it will damage it a bit, and will really cause damage if it’s done too much. Cool air is fine though.

Answer #4

yes, but you won’t want to do it a lot, or else it will get tangled. If you’re blow-drying it to make it have more body, you’ll want to flip your hair to the side or upside down to fluff it :) hope this helped

Answer #5

thats a great idea!

Answer #6

its probably more safe than if it was wet because wet hair is much more suspectible to breajage and damage… im sure yours will be fine.

Answer #7

I would just let your hair dry naturally, thats the best. If you use cool air it won’t damage your hair.. then also you might be blow drying it for a couple hours.. lol

Answer #8

yes because it can give your hair more volume if needed, but be careful because it can dry out your hair and make it have split ends :-)
