Keith is an amazing movie, so is The painted veil, Atonement, Blue valentine, Seven pounds (not sure if you’d call it sad, but its a great movie), precious, brokeback mountain, dear John, revolutionary road (I’ve read the book not sure about how the movie is though), Moulin Rouge.

Titanic, loseing isaya, the color purple, the green mile, lion king and that’s all I can think of right now

It’s got a very beautiful and sad, prayerful song in the sound track, from the climactic scene of the film, that I posted in my FA videos (the song video is not related to the movie; just the song itself):

Although it’s an Islamic song in Arabic, this has become one of my favorite songs for Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement holy day for Jews).

Aside from all that, the movie is very beautiful and moving, painful to watch, both sad and uplifting in the end.

A couple of good movies about the Holocaust have been mentioned; another is “The Devil’s Arithmetic”.
