Why is my Dad's neck swollen?

I’m kind of worried about my dad. His kneck just below his ear is quite swolen and he said this morning it was painful. His ear was hurting aswell. I don’t think theres any lumps or anything, its just swollen up.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

It could be something simple like a swollen lymph node due to infection or it could be any other number of things. A simple visit to the doc should bring you both peace of mind.

it could just be a swollen gland from a cold which could also cause the ear ache. but you should take him to a doctor anyway just in case.

uhm yeah, my dad had the same thing and it was cancer… insist he go to the dr…
