Is there anything in the rules that says there can only be a certain number of Admins?

Because Colleen was only promoted to Admin when Dara steped down.

No, I don’t believe there is a rule to how many admins there are. However, Jeremy, I believe, is the one that decides how many he wants to hire. The site isn’t that hard to manage, there doesn’t need to be more than 5 admins really. Also, they get paid, like Len said, they really can’t afford to hire a lot of admins when they really don’t need them. That’s why they have advisors, they help keep FunAdvice under control while the admins aren’t here. They report people that are breaking the rules, and they deleted questions and answers, if they are getting to out of hand (arguments/name calling)…and they move questions to the correct category, and move questions to status updates…

It’s more of an actual hiring. Advisors aren’t hired. And yeah, it’s a money issue. The owners have to decide how many people they need to hire and how much help the site needs to run.
