ruined ??

did I ruin my exes life by giving the engagement ring back ?? he always says that I did and now im strating to believe it , I dont love him - or atleast I dont think I do … what should I do , the engagement is off but we are still kinda dating … what should I do … I just dont want to hurt his feelings … im just so used to being and knowing he is with me … so I dont know if thats love or if its just a habit

If you dont feel like you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you have every right to leave. No one can make another person love them and want to be with them, some people just take it really hard but time ends up healing everything. You need to work out what you are feeling, you either want him or not, work that out first becos if you do want him, then put the ring back on and stop messing with his head, but obviously you dont becos you already gave it back. You need to build the courage to let him go, in the long run he will realise its best you did this now then get married with doubts, possibly have kids then decide you didnt wanna be with him and then leave when it would hurt so much worse. Dont worry about him, he is a big boy he will be fine, you need to work out what to do, what you want so you can put it to rest.

If he is saying you ruined his life by giving the ring back..tell him you’ll keep the ring so he can move on better. lol
