How do I make ripped skinnies?

:$ I’m trying to figure out how to change my skinny jeans into nice looking ripped pants, but i don’t know how to do that , without embarrassing myself badly. :$ Please, help! <3

Cut slits in them and put them in the wash, then the drier to make them fray.

Renee ^ that’s one way but it won’t look that good…… Tori i get sandpaper and sand the area i want ripped then wash them :)

It works for me, I have a clothing business and that’s how I do it. I used to use sandpaper, but it weakens the denim around the slit and will make it rip more.

You can just buy them cheap at Walmart or Forever 21.

rub them with sandpaper for a long time the after they are thin rip them :)

Rub them with sanpaper or take something that can cut like a siccors and rub them up and down the pant leg and they will fray

Well that’s how i do it…..

Put them on and take a knife and run it down your leg over and over again for a long time. Pick off the blue fuzzies that come off and just keep going. This will take an hour or so, but after you wash them, it will turn out looking like the ripped patches with the lines across them at the store. I assume this is what your going for.
