how do i get rid of this nervous stomach?

Okay so I got back from my holidays in Turkey on Thursday but on the night I arrived there I started having a really nervous feeling, my stomach was doing flips and I couldn’t eat. This continued throughout my holiday and at some points I was gagging over the toilet but wasn’t actually sick. I go away every year so it wouldn’t be anything to do with being in another country. I thought it would go away when I got home but it hasn’t. I still have the nervous feeling where I’m biting my nails and food makes me gag. I have completely lost my appatite and I feel nausea most of the time. Eating feels like torture when I used to love my food.

I recently got my second depo provera shot. I don’t know if this would have anything to do with it? I can’t enjoy myself and it spoiled my holiday. I have lost a stone and a half in weight since I got off the pill to change to the depo shot. I don’t want to lose anymore :( help?

Calm down for one. Take big deep breaths, put on some slow calming music and just chill out. If its still upset try some crackers and 7up, flat coke can cure a stomach ache, or pepto bismol.

Breath in through your nose and out through your mouth deeply, for me personally nothing ever helped with the nausea except for getting whatever I was nervous about over with.

I’m not nervous about anything though really, or I don’t think I am. Isit psychological and isit it connected to anxiousty?

I used to get panic attacks like that to the point where every morning I would throw up. I couldn’t keep anything down and even developed a stomach ulcer after losing about 20 pounds in two weeks (not joking).

You need to see a doctor. In some cases the depo shot can cause problems, however anxiety isn’t necessarily one of them. I suggest that you ask your doctor to give you something to help for the stomach ache, like a strong antacid (it could be the problem) and them maybe considering speaking to someone about your nervousness. It helped a lot for me so maybe it is worth a try?
