what can i do to get rid of my dry skin under my eyebrow hair?

under the hair i have really bad dry skin..and it flakes on my eyebrows..lol..i dont know what to do to try to fix that..i hate it..anyone have any ideas? oh and i tried lotion but that doesn’t seem to work..just makes my eyebrows look oily or something..lol..

Well, what kind of lotion have you tried?…Just plain hand lotion wouldn’t help.

The only solution I know for this problem is to moisturize your eyebrows. I have this same issue. What I do is apply some sort of dry skin, or healing lotion to my eyebrows…and other areas of dry skin on my face.

I usually use Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment, Hypo-allergenic and Fragrance Free. I apply it every morning and every night. I believe I bought it from Wal-Mart…so it doesn’t cost too much. It works for me. :)

I have also heard you can use Vitamin E Cream, Cocoa Butter, Vaseline and a Q-tip, and for severe and stubborn eyebrow flakes…Cortisone Cream works when no other moisturizer will.

I get dry skin there when I pluck my eyebrows, I just moisturise the area and it goes away. Make sure you are using a gentle facewash too.

yeah im using MaxClarity right now..and it dries my face out horribly..ugh..but it’s the only thing so far to get rid of my acne..lmao…so i guess i’ll juts have to keep moisturizing..it sucks though having to put lotion on ur face like 4 times a day and it hardly not working still..lol..

thanks yeah i used jergens extra dry skin lotion..so far it hasn’t helped..but i’ll check on the other and see if that helps..thank you =)

I know it sounds strange, but it could actually be dandruff. Try when washing your face to wash just that part with head and shoulders or something similar and see if it disappears.
