Answer #2

holding spray…and molding hair down

Answer #3

Well, if you want to permanently remove the cowlicks, you would have to try hair waxing, electrolysis, or plastic surgery. Sometimes these solutions are permanent, and sometime they’re not. It just depends on how bad the cowlick is, and if the procedure was done correctly.

Depending where the cowlick is located on your head…a hair stylist can manage the hair by cutting your hair to work with the direction of the hair or add weight from hair to hold the cowlick down. Also, some chemical treatments such as perms or relaxing treatments will help tame cowlicks.

To keep them down on your own, most hair creams, greases, or pomades with good hold will work. Just apply the styling product to the root, and area of the cowlick and then use your fingers to replace the cowlick where you want it to lay. The styling product will help to hold the cowlick in place.

Answer #4

Lol, don’t try and hairspray or gel it down- it will only make it worse. There is no way to egt rid of a ‘cow lick’ or natural hair growth pattern. Go to your hairdresser- we have been trained in hairstyles that work with people’s natural growth patterns, hiding what they don’t want (cow licks, double crowns etc) in an illusion with the hair.
