For how long do you have to wear a retainer?

is it possible that you have to wear them till your teeth stop growing or something like that?

I got one and I only had it for a few months but if you have a permint retainer it last forever it depends on what your teeth look like

You have to were them 24/7 (Obviously take them out when your drinking/eating or brushing your teeth) until you go back to the densist for a check up :) He’ll then tell you to just put them in at night when your going to sleep. Then when you go back the second time he will check them again to see if they are ready to come out.

Not for the rest of your life! That’s insane. Definitly 24 hours for the first few weeks and then maybe only at night for the next 6 months - 2 years. Depends on the treatment you had.

The rest of your life. You eventually just have to wear them at night though.
