How do I reset my iPod Touch if it has completely frozen?

No, you didn’t state the second part at all, you stated when you hold down the off button, not sleep/wake and home together for ten seconds. Small detail I know, which is why I posted Apple’s solution.

yeah, i made it run out of battery and then charged it :/

Haha I understand! That has happened to me. But what was shown when it was frozen? Like a little loading sign on a black screen? or nothing?

open up itunes, plug in your ipod, and press the power button and the home button at the same time. if that doesn’t work, hopefully its just really really dead. you can also hold down the power button (@ the top) for 5 seconds, and it should power down then restart with a little silver apple appearing on the screen. Seriously, this happened to me like 2 days ago :P I hate apple
