why do i repeatedly get the same alerts? Seriously, I get all excited for nothing!

They may not be the same alerts. I notice I get a lot of alerts for the same question, but it’s usually that someone has posted a new answer to that question or a reply to my answer.

no, i get those too. These are the exact same one. No one new has posted or anything!

Could be just a bug they’re trying to work through, you should let Jeremy (thedude) know assuming he doesn’t already. :/

I get that also…grrrr. It will probably be worked out with time but for now…grrrr.

K, note about alerts: You are getting new ones, but if they are for old alerts (like a new comment that has already been on the list), they don’t move back to the top. The alert numbering is off too. It may say you have 24 when you really have 4. That happens a lot when you have a ton of comments on a page. Not sure why, but Ericson and Jeremy are aware of all those issues and yes, they are working on them :)

Yep, we know, and yes, it’s pretty disappointing to me, too because I always think, cool, 3 new things!

If you could see the logs of the programmers on how many huge things they got done this week, you’d be impressed. Unfortunately, not every bug has high visibility, which is why only some people may have seen a bit of what we did.

Also, I started helping too - even though I’m slower, and the worst programmer of the group. However, I decided over the next month, I’m going to start contributing a lot more on that end of things…as I can’t personally handle knowing there is something i could do to make things better and not helping.

dont worry, im not judging, im sure you are a much better programmer than me! I know you’re working through everything!
