Why would it be necessary to remove teeth of a 4-year-old?

my cousin is 4 they said they have to remove some of his teeth..why?

Answer #1

We don’t know. Ask the dentist. Maybe your cousin has teeth that never fully developed. Maybe he has teeth that came in without enamel, so they basically start rotting and breaking off as they grew out of the gums. Maybe he has tooth abscess. How are we supposed to know? We don’t know what kind of condition your cousins teeth are in. Again, just ask the dentist! He/she will give you an accurate answer.

Answer #2

Most likely to make space for incoming teeth. Baby teeth need to come off and let the others grow, that’s the main reason why young children tend to get their teeth pulled if they don’t naturally come off.
