How do you remove songs from a disc that you previously burnt songs on to?

Answer #1

Depends on what disc it is.

If you have a CD or DVD that is RW (re-writable) AND a CD/DVD burner that supports RW format then you should be able to delete, with the same program that you use to write CDs/DVDs.

If you have a CD or DVD and a burner that is -R or +R format then you can’t delete at all. You just break it and make a new one. Blank +R or -R CDs/DVDs aren’t expensive.

You can only add something to a CD/DVD that you previously wrote upon if you did not click “finish the CD” but told your computer to leave the thing open ended for further writing. Which will result in that some CD readers will not be able to decode it.
