How do I remove a patch for Grand Theft Auto 4?

Right click the .exe, properties, previous versions… as long as you haven’t deleted your windows restore points you should have the option to roll back..

When I played gta4 on win7 the game was nearly unplayable.. running in compatibility mode for xp-sp2 and xp-sp3 helped a lil but didn’t fix it so I tried running in vista, vista-sp1 and vista-sp2 and it played quite well until my ati catalyst driver decided to stop working and crash to the desk top..I mean this was playing with everything on high and 100%… lowering everything or running at basic settings still made it crash so I uninstalled it in the end.. gta4 hates windows 7..

erm as the .exe has changed you will need to run in compatibility mode with xp or vista after the patch… and don’t worry: my pc spec supersedes the required spec for this game its just a buggy as hell game and a really bad console port and as i said it hates win7 for some reason
