How do I remove black hair dye from my chemically treated hair without damaging it further?
I colored my hair black over a year and a half ago, before i colored it black it was brown with lots of highlights, i also straighten my hair with hair relaxer, i’m tired of having black hair all the time so i want to make a change and go for brown but my hair has been through so much over the past two years that i’m scared to even try removing the color from it now, any suggestions on what i should do ?
Ask your local hairdressers about an effasor, it’s an in-salon process that strips hair of colour without using bleach. It’s still harmful but nowhere near as harmful as bleach. Most small salons don’t do effasors though so you may want to find a chain salon.
Isn’t this like color oops? Most salons where i live bleach the color out, my hair was bleached in the past to obtain highlights, so bleach on bleach will cause breakage, i don’t think i’ll ever go to BLACK again… it’s a real headache…thanks alot for the info… i’ll update u on that when i color my hair :)
