Does Remington Wet2Straight hair straightener work well on coloured and thin hair?

and is it good to straighten it when its wet? i heard some people said it works very well for them, but my friend said they damaged her hair. so should i buy them?

Answer #1

I wudnt get the wet to straight, ur friends r right u cud damage ur hair starightening it that way, I use Conair, the one that has adjustable settings, and again I wudnt straighten ur hair when its wet

Answer #2

For the price they ask for and considering it would be burning your hair i wouldnt. It may seem more convenient to be able to exit the bath/shower after washing your hair, and being able to have straight hair but saying you have thin hair could be really un healthy for your hair and its plausable it will get thiner and weak. The more u pay, the betger the quality remember that.

Answer #3

I agree

Answer #4

how about if i straghten it with dry hair. ??

Answer #5

Answer #6

Yep shud b fine that way, u may want to get some heat protectant to spray on first

no no no no from experience it damaged my hair ( my hair is thin) but my mom uses it and she LOVES it but she has thinker hair then mine so when your hair is more coarse it can resiste much more damage then thin weaker hair :( so you should buy a normal hair straightener and for best results a PERFESSIONAL one :)

I use corioliss Perfessional Straightening Iron, the best and i had it for 3 years :) best of luck!! :)

I have the Wet2Straight, but I never use it when my hair is wet, mostly because it doesn’t get my hair as straight as I’d like it. Plus, all of the steam coming off of the iron can seriously burn your hands.. I use it when my hair is completely dry, and it works fine for me. However, I don’t have super- super thin hair. So I guess it’s personal preferance, really.
