Do you think it's possible to remember the day you were born?

Answer #1

I dont think it is possible

Answer #2

I think it is possible for people with photographic memories but others I very well doubt it.

Answer #3

I really dont think thats possible. I dont think i’d want to remember it. How terrifying that’d be. Your living all warm and happy in your moms uterus then BAM your being pushed out into some cold weird place.

Answer #4

I do. It was fun watching the doctor pull me out.

Answer #5

I don’t think it’s possible, no. When we’re that young, I don’t even think we know how to process what’s happening.

Answer #6

Memories are based on speech. We remember what we can put into words. Which is why people have no way to remember anything before they could speak. This isn’t a matter of whether we ‘think’ it is possible. Research shows that no, this isn’t going to happen, and it specifies why.

Answer #7

No, the long term memory part of your brain doesn’t develop until you’re 3 or 4. I learned that in Psychology last year.

Answer #8

But they haven’t asked me. Yes, a baby of a few days old can remember, I did. I remember being in an incubator, having my diapers changed and being fed. How about that. I also remember my last life. Can you answer that by clinical research as well.

Answer #9

nothing is impossible, different ppl remember different things, me i remember my whole childhood including the day i was born .. but i dont even remember what i wore yesterday haha ;)

Answer #10

Yes. People create ‘memories’ all the time. The brain is entirely capable of making stuff up. It does it all the time. And it also convinces us that it’s real.

Answer #11

I believe it can happen especially if you have a traumatic delivery. I know someone close to me who was born blue and not breathing. They remember when they were brought back and breathing. I don’t remember being born but I do remember select things from before I was one, little things that don’t really matter though. And I know I do remember things before I could talk because I was able to tell my parents how I ended up swallowing sea breeze when I was little. I couldn’t tell them then but I showed them what I drank. It was later when I was able to talk that I told them what lead to me drinking the sea breeze.

Answer #12

yea… i know someone who does. science cant explain everything
