Can i get relief from tinnitus?

I get it…Had it for very brief periods for years…Get it a lot just lately due to another medical condition…I can get rid of it as quick as it starts and always have, my Father who suffers from it cannot get any relief and it even can wake him from sleep…All I do is what I have done since a teenager when it first happened is…Imagine a very detailed fully loaded ka-ot-ic type of seen,noises and visual stimulation for your imagination to feast on is how i see it…think like this in a deep way and my Tinnitus seems to go.The strangest thing is the thing that fills my mind so well to rid the Tinnitus is that I just remember the opening credits to the A-Team from when I was a kid, that jeep being blown up ,gun fire,explosions,theme music ect works for me,and as this thought thing has always worked I stick to it.I know the A-Team thing is lol but its true.
