I dont no why people make such a big fuss about it. other religious people talk about other reliogus people but they dont have th right to do that until they see the ther religion. I’ve been in both and I am both christian and catholic and I understand its the same frikin thing…

Catholics are Christian. All Christian means is that you believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. Many who term themselves Christian, though, deny that Catholics are Christian, claiming that we worship Mary or the Pope, and generally making wild claims about Catholics. Sad, considering that vritually every Christian religion in the world, including Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons branched out from Christianity. Most will deny this, as well, in an attempt to distance themselves from what they see as a corrupt religion. (There are some religions that are older than Catholic - Jewish and Hindu spring to mind, and each of these has breakaway religions based on them. Islam, also a major world religion today, started well after Cahtolicism. This, too sits poorly with many Christian religions, as they don’t like to acknowlege that they are relative newcomers on the religion stage!)
