Relating Modeling Requirements.

I already know it’s not possible to become a supermodel, or runway model. But what type of modeling can I get into? Where should I go about looking for modeling jobs. My meaurments: 34-32-34

I’m not entirely sure on my hips and waist I need to re-meausre.

Dress size =2 Shoe size = 9 1/2

I’m 101 lbs.

My personal belief is that its absoultely ridiculous you have to be 5”7+ if your going to be wearing five inch heels. We can’t help the way we are born. Its unfortunate. And it’s not likely that I’ll grow any taller when I’m older. My mom is an inch taller then me and my sister is the same height as her.

Slower is right mini, the idea of the average model has changed these days yes it is true that some clients still look for 5”10 thin model but in many other areas they are looking for women that show other forms of beauty and can relate to all of the other beautiful women of the world who aren’t the stereotype of a model.

There is also great demand for models in catalogues and advertising to model as mothers and to do family shots to sell clothes etc. And also modeling for hair and face. I’ve been in the industry.

Remember you are a beautiful and smart young woman!

Dont let your height or any other aspect put you back, there is always someone that will tell you cant do it no matter what you look but if you really want it and you show great confidence and poise and a real focus on the career (so do your homework find out what the industry is all about look into the different options and even do a short course at your local education centre or local modeling agency most will charge a small fee but most of the time you wont need to audition to attend the course and attend a short model/fashion course) and have a killer attitude it will get you far! And from what I’ve seen a strong attitude and determination will get you further then how you look!

Good luck and take care of yourself xo
