Do Christians promote reincarnation?

I’ve been reading something lately and a thought came across my mind. One of the signs in the end is that of the souls running out of some place, and no more left fro the world. So if this is true, then does that promote reincarnation? That Christ was dead for three days and arose the thrid, was he going through a process? The time of judgment is at the end of days. Does that mean man comes back over and over and due to the amount of sins he has had in his past lives depend on his next life? Cause when we die we dont warp to the end of days? It makes me wonder. Just a thought that came to me. Thought i see what you guys think.

No, Christians do not promote/believe in reincarnation - it appears you need to read the book of Revelations more closely - as far as the 3 days, Christ went to paradise to minister to those who were believers from old-testament days and they were taken to Heaven - no, when we die we don’t ‘warp’ to the end of days (as you put it) - when a person who is saved dies, the Bible tells us ‘to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord’ - man does not come back over and over - you’re getting mixed up by some mans theory with what the Bible actually says - reading the Bible will clarify it for you…Hope this helps !!

As the above post says, “It is appointed onto man to die ONCE and after that comes judgement.” Heb 9:27 The Bible and therefore I believe God say you are you and you get one chance here on earth. We are not reincarnated. We live, we die, we go to heaven or hell.

Reread your Q and thought I’d add a bit more. No we don’t warp to the end of times and the whole world judgment is at the end, BUT when we die and we are immediately judged in that we are w/ God or in Hell. Rev. also talks about the saints in heaven (ppl who have already died) who are in heaven w/ God and there are incidences in the Bible were Jesus talks of heaven and hell in relation to ppl who have just died. On the cross He tells the one thief that “today you will be w/ me in paradise.” The storey of Lazarus and the rich man (which most Biblical theologians think is a true story, b/c in all of the parables Jesus told he never gave characters names) He talks about the rich man being in hell and Lazarus being in heaven hanging out w/ the soul of Moses.

Hey P.O.D.,

Glad to see you’re still with us. The place you are refering to is called,”The Guff” or “Hall of souls”. I can’t exactly remember where in the bible it is found but I have read about it. Reincarnation does not, will not, and cannot exist. God does not regurgitate souls from person to person. We are all made in His image yes, but we are all made unique and different. “It is appointed for man to die ONCE, then the judgement.” Hebrews 9:27
