Red bumps.

After getting out of the hot tub last night I started getting really itchy and some places like my back were stinging. Now I have all of these little red bumps/dots randomly on my body. Is something wrong or did I just get in the hot tub too soon after the chemicals were put in or what???

Answer #1

You could have a rash coming, get it checked out asap.

Answer #2

could be an allergic reaction won’t know for sure until you get it checked

Answer #3

might be shingles

Answer #4

I went to my doctor and found out that it’s foliculitis. It’s inflammation of the hair follicles. I get it every time I’m in one certain hot tub. I mainly just get the bumps on both of my sides then just a few spread here and there on my body

Answer #5

Did you use a new bubble bath or bath soaps or bathing crystals? You could be allergic to them.

Try changing what you put in the bath tub and see if it goes away.

Answer #6

This happens to me all the time I have no idea what the problem is!!! If you find out let me know please!

Answer #7

Could just be a reaction to the chemicals, either just put in or have been changed to a different brand-if you have used this particular hot tub before. Hot tubs are notorious for staph infestation also, so if it doesn’t clear up soon or gets worse then you need to get it checked out. Could just be the chemicals though, if you don’t use a hot tub often could just be a contact dermatitis.
