Is this a good recipe for chapstick?

1 tablespoon-Beeswas shavings/pearls 1 tablespoon-Cocoa Butter 1 tablespoon-Almond Oil 1/4 tablespoon-Vanilla Extract Plus a tiny bit of glitter, for looks? Thank you so much!!!! :)

Answer #1

yes, just try it see how it works out and if you like it or not:)

Answer #2

sounds like it may work but the only way to know is to try it :)

Answer #3

I’d leave out the glitter … the point of chapstick is to heal chapped and dry lips … the glitter just seems like it would agitate. If you’re actually going for a “lip gloss” instead, then sure … glitter away.

Answer #4

But I didn’t mean like, craft glitter….More like face glitter that has the consistancy of eye shadow…Whadoya think??

Answer #5

Around how much do u think it’d cost tho???? (Thank! BTW) lol :)

Answer #6

It could work … I may be a little too concerned about putting anything that can be even mildly abrasive on chapped lips, but if it’s a fairly soft shadow … I suppose it could work.

Answer #7

And Colleen, how much do you think this all would cost, to make several tubes?….\:)
