Should I receive more drivers training if I am having trouble with merging?

I am a new driver but I am still having a lot of trouble when it comes driving down the freeway ramp and then merging into traffic. Once I reach the end of the ramp, I always wound up riding side by side, very close to the other vehicle in the same lane. Should I just receive more training or should I just practice on my own? I really need your advice.

I think you just need experience. If you end up side by side with another car, you need to back off and let the car go in front of you because he has the right of way. Merge behind him. Just drive with your mom or dad and have them coach you. You just need to practice :)

These things take time. Don’t get discouraged. Be patient and practice.
