What can I do about receding nail bed?

This has spanned over a year by now, I have been tested for yeast infection and for fungal infection twice, they both came back negative, however, my nail beds still continue to recede.

This is happening to my thumb all the way to my forth finger on my left hand. I have ceased any sort of nail cosmetics for over a year nowand have never had fake nails, uv nails (or anything of the sort) done to my nails before. I was prescribed Penlac (an anti-fungal nail lacquer) for my index finger before I was tested which I had used for under half a year with no improvement and since then, the receding has begun happening to the other fingers including, still, the index.

My doctor, after giving me my negative report, had no comment or any sort of treatment to offer me. Simply told me to continue cutting back my nails, which I had been doing since it started to no avail.

So, does anyone know any home-treatments or any supplements I can take to get them to grow back, or at least stop receding?

Maybe see a hair, skin and nail specialist. Have you asked a cosmetician about what it might be. That’s all I know to do
