How do I reboot?

I just got an Hp Windows7 Laptop and due to my fault I crazily have been attacked by viruses. I dont care if I loose files that I have created.

if you cant do it the normal way: windows logo - [over to teh bottom right] restart.

just hold down the power button and it should shut down.

once its booting hit f8 and select safe mode, once booted do a virus scan.

Do you have a dvd or cd with a backup of windows 7? If so, I would advice you to do a new install of your OS (win 7) to get rid of the viruses. If you choose to do so, then just put in the disc containing windows, and follow the instructions. And get yourself a antivirusprogram while you’re at it :) Good luck.

the word “reboot” is usually used to say you’re switching off you machine - completely, no suspend mode - and then restart. But that will not help you to get rid of any viruses.

Sounds like you want to rebuild the PC, and most computers have a restore portion that will give you the option to reload the OS from boot, if not you will have disk and you can reboot the PC with the disk in and normally it will start unless you have changed this in Bios.
