you mean your trying out for a dance team? i would say take a dance class to keep your body fit, updated on moves and terms, also working out in a gym will keep you fit and flexible. also i recomend trying to do a split. but take baby steps while trying or youll hurt yourself!! first go down on one knee, then have the other foot planted on the ground, stretch forward as far as you can but dont strain yourself! then repeat with the other side. after this switch back to the other leg and then slowlyyyy try to put them straight in a split position, but only do what you can, dont tear a muscle or strain yourself! repeat with the other side. try this every day and in about a months time you will be able to do a split.
