Razor bumps on my face

I need to learn how to shave without having razor bumps after, someone help.

Answer #1

First, use an electric shaver. If you cant, use shave cream or lotion the shave in the direction of the hair growth (usually down) . Rinse with warm water.

Answer #2

really? I just used the exact words of my doctor… maybe I should have a little talk with him eh Jaz? lol

Answer #3

if you want… I shave against the grain all the time, a lot of people here do and your less likely to get ingrown hairs you can get razor bumps shaving any way if you dont use anything or anything good while shaving thats why you need shaving cream or conditioner

Answer #4

sry jaz but you are wrong. shaving against the grain actually gets you razor bumps. once you shave more regularly razor bumps will come less. I actually get razor bumps from an electric razor so the oldfashioned way is better for me. It fully depends on your skin which method works best for you.

Answer #5

When you’re done hold a wet, hot cloth on it for a little while.

Answer #6

shave against the grain, upwards if you shave with it your more likley to get ingrown hairs use a shaver with more than 1 blade, 4 is good even a mens razor will do just as long as its a clean one and not one that someone else has used use either shaving cream or conditioner never shave with plain water, plain soap, or shampoo and its easier to shave in the shower so the warm water can open up your pores, making it easier

Answer #7

gilette fusion power and some nivea for men after shave
