Why is rap so popular...?

Rap is life at its best….

Personally i really dislike rap all my friends listen to it and i think it sounds bad. I think people like cause it’s what is popular ad their just use it so now they like it. I feel the same way about the rappers and most singers these days, they all have a computer they use to make them sound good and make their beats. Like seriously wheres the real drums and guitars and singers. Thats why i listen to older music.

To each his own, I personally love raggea but know MANY who absolutly hate it. Everyone has their own taste in music, and you can’t really talk crap to someone just because they dont have the same taste in music.

because humanity has lost the ability to enjoy real music yes I will admit I listen to a couple of hip hop artist but their sound is way different from this mainstream bull that you hear everywhere

I personally like the hiphop kind of rap songs..by the most popular stars..it is just a preference..alot of people go for this..like people go for metal&screamo..

That’s uncalled for. People like different things, so just because you don’t agree with their opinions, doesn’t mean they have no taste in music. You need to have some respect.

It’s more of a trend, music and fashion come in trends. Personally, I hate it.

yeah im not sure why its so popular too its prbly because of a fad thing. i personally listen to all kinds of music. but i have to say some rap/ hiphop songs r really good and have lyrics that touch my heart but most of the other stuff thats out in hiphop feels like noise to me.

Rap is popular b’cus that’s a way of expressing how you feel , you know? It shows the personality of the rapper, for example, Lil Wayne. His raps are always about “ bitches” , money, or being on his own and not letting anyone take over control of him. Eminem has really deep ones. His song , Mockingbird, tells about his past, how he had no money, had a daughter, and got robbed around Christmas. Honestly, I love raps. It has so much meaning in it and they’re always stories behind every line in their raps. It’s just very inspirational. <3
