What are the ranges for laptop prices?

Laptops can range in different prices (300$-10,000$). It all depends on the brand, seller, and components. I got my laptop for like 420$ with taxes, because my dad repairs laptops for Fujitsu Laptops. He gets good deals like the laptop i’m using now. I believe its from 2009 and it is very fast and has 500GB of HDD and it Intel Dual Core 64-Bit with Windows 7. In my computer class at school, my teacher instructed us to look around the web and buy parts of computers as cheap as possible and later build the device. It turns out you can buy all necessary parts for like 78$ and have a functioning system. Although it was very slow and does very little work. I have seen laptops that cost up to 25,000$ with everything built in including 2 TB (TeraBytes; 2,000GB).
