Ok headbanger, don’t hurt whatever you banf your head on,!! Anyway, are you reading or studying or even just stressed out/po’d your question was deleted? Coming ans going makes me think muscle tension ro cluster headache. Is this the first time its happened or have you had them before? If you have had them before OR if they start to occur more over time then you need to let ypur Dr know what’s happening. If it was an isolated occurence then just mention it to your doctor. If they start to occur again, start a headache diary. Include where it was at on the head(back at neck), what it felt like (stabbing, crushing, vice like, etc)–explain it the best you can, what you were doing when it started(watching tv, reading, studying, etc). If you can include *everything eat or drink to look for comparisons, does anything help to go away/lessen the pain (tylenol. Motrin, aspirin, herbal meds, etc).and is there anything that makes it worse (loud noises, bright lights, etc). Yes its a lot if work but it really helps to be able to find anything that may causing the headaches, food. Reading, studying, etc. Could be you need glasses(if you don’t have them already) or you need the prescription change, etc. Do you still have it now, or has it gone away?

Answer #2

it could be a pinched nerve in your neck somewhere, I do occasionally get a head ache like that if I sleep wrong during the night.

I think it is called ‘headbanger’ syndrome.

ok- seriously most likely a pinched nerve or a muscle out of whack.

Well, are you under a lot of stress maybe? or maybe not drinking enoug water or needing glasses. All of these can cause short headaches.
